VICTORIA, Texas — A 25-year-old woman was found dead inside a vehicle at Riverside Park late Thursday.

According to a Victoria Police Department statement, officers responded to an unknown call in the 300 block of McCright Drive around 8:20 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle in the Guadalupe River. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said it is unclear what caused the vehicle to enter the river. No foul play is suspected at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
