BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) – Levy County Sheriff’s deputies say two men are in jail after investigators busted a multi-county theft ring.
Deputies say William McCrae, 24 was a suspect in several copper wire thefts at electrical substations.
On Friday, investigators say McCrae pulled a shotgun out when he was confronted while stealing from a property.

Deputies found the stolen copper at a home in Bronson.
Detectives arrested McCrae and Michael Earnhardt 25, who both admitted to stealing the copper wire.
