Marathon County officials seek help in search for missing elderly man

TOWN OF RINGLE, Wis. (WSAW) – A Silver Alert has been issued as officials attempt to locate Dennis Fischer, 80, of the Town of Ringle.

His vehicle was last seen near E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Ballard Rd. in Appleton.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office said Fischer left his home around 3:30 p.m. on Monday and may be disoriented due to cognitive impairment/dementia.

He is believed to be driving a white Hyundai Tucson with Wisconsin license plates: ADK6074.

Fischer is a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, approximately 140 pounds, with brown eyes and balding hair.

Fischer was last seen wearing black jeans, an army-green veterans’ sweatshirt, a black leather Dale Earnhardt jacket, a black hat, and glasses.

Anyone with information regarding Dennis’s location is encouraged to call 911.
