WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — A woman has been killed in a crash on New Year’s Day in Wagoner County, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The report states that Estefania Rivera, 33 of Dallas, was riding in a vehicle traveling southbound on State Highway 72 near East 181st Street South before 1:30 a.m. in the northbound lane while another vehicle was traveling north in the same lane.
The two vehicles swerved to try and avoid each other which ended in a head-on collision.
Rivera died as a result of the crash.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries in the crash as well as two passengers in the second one.
