Authorities search for Ascension Parish man reported missing with Dementia

Steven A. Perrilloux, diagnosed with early-onset dementia, was last seen in Harriesburg, Mississippi, driving a silver Chevrolet Colorado.

ASCENSION PARISH, La. — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Steven A. Perrilloux, who was reported missing earlier this week.

Perrilloux was last seen in Harriesburg, Mississippi, wearing a Laker’s beanie, a blue Southern University sweater, blue jeans, and boots. He was driving a 2007 silver Chevrolet Colorado with a Louisiana license plate Y037925.

The sheriff’s office said Perrilloux has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia, raising concerns for his safety.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Perrilloux’s whereabouts to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office immediately.
