Fatal wrong-way crash on I-15 near Charleston leaves one dead, three injured

The Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, is investigating a fatal crash involving six vehicles on northbound I-15 at Charleston.

The incident occurred Thursday at 6:48 p.m. and involved a wrong-way driver, who has been confirmed deceased at the scene.

According to officials, three individuals were transported to a local hospital, with two in serious condition and one with minor injuries.

As a result of the crash, all travel lanes on northbound I-15 at Charleston are closed.

The Neon Gateway northbound on-ramp and the Charleston on-ramp for northbound IR-15 are also closed.

Traffic is being diverted onto the Charleston off-ramp.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
