Driver killed in Orangeburg County crash

EUTAWVILLE, S.C. (WIS) – A fatal collision happened Thursday morning in Orangeburg County, authorities say.

The collision reportedly happened around at 6:20 a.m. on Eutaw Road at Gaillard Street in Eutawville.

South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) says a 2013 Honda CRV, traveling north, went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

According to the SCHP, the driver died from their injuries on the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the SCHP.
