Sheriff’s Department Questioned One Man Yesterday In Relation to the Case
Authorities have not named a suspect, although they did briefly detain, question, and then release one man yesterday. The man, who identified himself as Carlos Palazuelos and said he works delivering packages in Tucson, spoke out to the media shortly after being released. He told Fox his experience was “terrifying,” before going on to say this was “something I didn’t do.” He continued, “I felt like I was being kidnapped, bro. Cause they didn’t tell me anything at the beginning.”
Palazuelos explained he was pulled over in a traffic stop and detained in the back of a car by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. “I was being questioned but they only asked me for my first name, my last name, my date of birth, and my social,” he said. He added that he was then questioned about his recent whereabouts. “Until right now, all I know is they showed my in-law a picture of somebody wearing a mask or something, and they – supposedly, it looked like my eyes,” he told the reporter.
