ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Officials in Albany are investigating Friday, Feb. 6, after a young infant was found dead at a motel.

The child appeared to be just a few months old, Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler estimated. The cause of death is unknown at this time, Fowler said.

Fowler said the baby was found at the Superior Creek Lodge, located at 2505 North Slappey Boulevard.
