DWI crash investigation near Carthage


JASPER COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Just after 1:30 p.m. Monday reports of a one vehicle crash near Carthage, Mo. on Country Club Road and Summit Lane alerted E-911.

Carthage Fire, Jasper County Deputies, and Mercy Ambulance responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

THE CRASH WAS JUST TO THE WEST OF CARTHAGE CITY LIMITS. 

On scene we learn from Missouri State Highway Patrol this is a DWI crash investigation. An SUV was traveling south on Country Club Rd, left the roadway to the right and struck a tree at Summit Lane.

The driver was transported to an area hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.

Schrader’s Towing removed the crashed SUV and debris from the scene.
