TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A crash closed portions of North Campbell Avenue in Tucson late Wednesday, Jan. 28.
According to a 13 News photographer at the scene, Campbell was completely closed from Fort Lowell to East Lind Road as of 9:45 p.m.
13 News has reached out to the Tucson Police Department for more information.
It is the same intersection where a Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputy was hit on Jan. 11.
According to the PCSD, the deputy tried to pull over a vehicle that ran a red light.
As the deputy turned on their emergency lights and entered the intersection, they were hit by a vehicle that was traveling east on Fort Lowell.
