TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Police Department has identified a woman who was killed in a crash on Hwy 317 on Monday, Jan. 26.

Temple Police identified the woman as 62-year-old Cynthia Stanford.

The Temple Police Department said officers were called to the area of Hwy 317 and Airport Road to reports of an accident around 3:24 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26.

When officers arrived, they reportedly found that a white SUV had rolled over. According to police, a preliminary investigation suggests that the SUV was traveling north on 317 when it left the roadway near Airport Road, going into a ditch where it then flipped over.

Temple Police said Stanford died in the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
