COVINGTON, La. — Covington High School was under lockdown Friday while police investigated an incident after receiving a video showing a person with a gun.
One suspect is in custody. The Covington Police Department said there is no active threat at this time.
The school will remain on lockdown while officers complete the investigation. Authorities are asking everyone to avoid the area and stay away from the campus.
