1 arrested after 2 injured in Downtown Austin crash, police say

Two people were taken to a hospital after the T-Bone collision early Tuesday, according to Austin police.

AUSTIN, Texas — One person was arrested after two people were injured in a crash early Tuesday in Downtown Austin. 

Austin police said a T-Bone collision happened between two vehicles at about 1 a.m. Tuesday along the Interstate 35 southbound service road and 7th St.

Responders said two people were taken to a hospital with non-severe injuries, and it’s unclear exactly what led up to the crash.

Part of the roadway was closed for several hours Tuesday morning but has since reopened.
