1 killed, 1 hurt in Stockton crash, police say

THIS HAPPENED JUST AFTER 8:00 TONIGHT AT GOLDEN GATE AVENUE AND MLK JUNIOR BOULEVARD. WE CAN GIVE YOU A LIVE LOOK OUT AT THAT SCENE. WE KNOW THAT TWO VEHICLES HAD BEEN INVOLVED. TWO MEN WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL, WHERE ONE OF THEM LATER DIED. WE ARE STILL WORKING TO LEARN THE CONDITION OF THE SECOND PERSON WHO WAS INVOLVED. One man was killed and another was injured following a crash in Stockton on Tuesday, according to the police department. Officers responded to the crash just after 8:15 p.m. in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, Stockton police said. Two men were taken to an area hospital, where one later died from his injuries.The extent of the other man’s injuries is unclear. Stockton police are investigating what led up to the collision.
