WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A 24-year-old man was arrested after investigators said he broke into a medical diagnostic facility owned by Novant Health on S 17th Street.

Theodore James allegedly stole items including keys, medical scrubs and decorations from employees’ desks, according to arrest records. The stolen items totaled about $100.

Arrest records said James ran from police and gave them a fake name during his arrest.

He is now charged with a felony count of breaking and entering, misdemeanor larceny and four counts of resisting a public officer.

James is being held at the New Hanover County Detention Center with a $5,000 bond. He is expected to make his first court appearance Monday.
