Anderson County Police are investigating a New Year’s Eve shooting that left three people injured. One of those victims is in critical condition. According to police, after receiving reports of gunfire, they responded to an event center at Whitehall Avenue. Officers say they found a woman victim in a large gathering of young people. She was suffering from a gunshot wound, but officers say it was not life-threatening. While securing the scene, officers say two additional victims arrived at AnMed Emergency Room. One victim is in critical condition, while the other has non-life-threatening injuries. Anderson Police Department Criminal Investigations and Forensics personnel are processing the scene.
