MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – An investigation is underway following a car crash that occurred, leaving one person killed, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

On Tuesday, Dec. 23, MPD responded to the intersection of Taylor Road and New Harvest Drive around 5:28 p.m. on reports of a three-vehicle crash. At the scene, officers found a driver, identified as Timothy James Brightwell, 52, of Ramer, where he was pronounced dead.

This investigation is ongoing.
