Just days before the Sugar Bowl, an Ole Miss player was arrested, records show.
Dante Core was arrested the day after Christmas on Friday in Andalusia in southern Alabama on drug charges, according to the Covington County Sherriff’s Department database. The department said he was found with drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Core, originally from the Florida panhandle, is a freshman defensive back who has not appeared in a game this year. FOX13 reached out to Ole Miss to find out about his status for Thursday’s Sugar Bowl game against Georgia but have not heard back.
