Two people were arrested Saturday night in Walker County following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Boldo Road. According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Zackery Vershon Casey on multiple charges, including trafficking fentanyl, certain persons prohibited from possessing firearms, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies also arrested Jessica Leigh Uptain, who faces several charges. Authorities say she is charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, fentanyl, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, illegal possession of a prescription drug, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office says the arrests were the result of a search warrant. The investigation remains ongoing.
