Longview police are searching for a suspect in a deadly conduct incident that occurred Sunday afternoon.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Cortez Ingram in the second of two incidents that occurred.

Longview police reported officers responded shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday to North High Street at West Marshall Avenue. Officers located a vehicle with a tire that had been shot, but the suspect left before police arrived.

Police then responded to a similar incident about 4:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Mobberly Avenue and East Methvin Street.

Ingram was identified as the suspect in that shooting, and a warrant has been issued for him on a charge of deadly conduct.

The Longview Police Department is asking anyone with information about the two incidents, or the whereabouts of Ingram, to call the Longview Police Department at (903) 237-1199 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at (903) 236-7867.
