FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A suspect has been identified after one person was killed in a shooting in Fort Collins on Sunday night, police said. 

Police said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. near the 2000 block of Battlecreek Drive. The victim was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. 

Police said they have identified a suspect, and said there is no additional threat to public safety.

No other information about the shooting has been released.
