BELL COUNTY, Texas — Bell County deputies have arrested a Taylor man for allegedly assaulting and severely injuring a two-year-old.
On Dec. 14, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office received word that a two-year-old child was being treated for a severe injury at the hospital.
The sheriff’s office says that they began an investigation, which identified a suspect who had access to the child but who was not a direct family member.

Deputies arrested 30-year-old Thomas Anthony Jonse at his home in Taylor. He has been charged with Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Injury to a Child.

Jonse was booked into and remains at the Bell County Jail. His bonds are set at $250,000 for each charge.
