WINSTON-SALEM — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man injured Saturday night.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 9:54 p.m. at 20 E. Acadia Ave. When they arrived, they found 47-year-old Jeffery Ryan Hall suffering from a single gunshot wound to the torso, according to police.

Hall was taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it is confirmed.
